In an economy that is recessed, you can only succeed if you refused to be recessed! This will serve as my reply to many of the questions asked me on how to survive economy meltdown.

Making extra income from a home based business, certain things must be learnt and applied for effectiveness and sustainance.

1: Don't Think of Starting Afresh.
There is no point re-inventing the wheel. Starting from scratch is one of the hardest way to do anything. Inventors pass through much frustration, failed tests, and often ridicule. Atimes many could not accomplish their goal. It is better to improve on what others have done.
Look for a system that's already working. Then jump start into it and follow it through. But you need to look well before you invest. This will save you good money and time.Improve on what is already working and probably make it better.
2: Go for Personal Mentor.
Most people that succeed in life follow a mentor, a trainer, a coach. In fact, many of the best have two or three mentors.
Their jobs among others are:
One...to help you be the best you can possibly be.
Two...to instruct and guide you.
Three.... to encourage in difficult times.
Above all, they hold your hand on the way to success.
A mentor will help you chart your course to keep you on track. They'll take you from where you are today to where you to be tomorrow. The only problem is that real marketing trainers are hard to find, if you get one hold on to him!

3: Build Residual Source of Income.
It is good to sell a product. Infact if you want to be financially okay, sell! But, find a way to earn a residual income from what you sell. Sell something today. Earn an income on it every month, every year and for the rest of your life.
This is how to achieve real wealth. Not by selling a one-time item or product and finding a new customer for it every day. Work an hour today and earn an income forever. You will be glad you did. Say it to yourself that you want to go to work tomorrow, then you want people to pay you for the rest of the year. People may laugh at you to scorn. Yet, the wealthy do this everyday of their lives.
4: Join a Mastermind group.
"Think and Grow Rich." is a successful book. If you don't own it, you should go over to a bookstore and buy a copy today.
One of it's bast principles is the Mastermind group. Every top leader and almost every millionaire takes part in a Mastermind group. By combining your talents and skills with others, you'll able to multiply everyone's efforts.

5: Set Goals (Your Great Priority).
What do you think of leaving your home one good morning without having a destination? Going through life without a plan is sailing through life without a plan. Most people live on salary to salary all their lives. They hope Job Security will take care of them when they get older. That's a mistake. JOB (Just Over Broke) security isn't enough for people to live on today. It definitely will disappoint you when you have to rely on it.
You have to make a plan today...or you'll end up in desperation tomorrow. What do you thing? To stay where you are with an unending spiral...or turn the corner and experience the money, lifestyle, and dreams of your desire.
You can make money in information marketing. Planning to take action doesn't pay you but taking action does. This the reason why the rich continue to get richer and the poor getting even poorer.
6: Use of Autoresponder In Selling.
You know, the number one reason people can't make it in business is because they can't or don't like to sell. In fact, that used to be my people's problem. The solution is to simply set up an automatic selling system where lead generation, sifting, and selling is all done for you.
In fact, you can even have people trained in your business mostly on auto-pilot. Your job is simply to be there and be yourself. Never do any personal selling.
7: Reduce Advertising Costs.
Lead generation is the biggest expense in most businesses. Many businesses even lose money on their first couple of sales to a customer because it costs so much to get them in the door! I've found several ways to reduce my leads costs.
Using the Internet and a few strategies I'll reveal to you will be able to get all the leads you will ever need for free. Even offline strategies can aswell reduce cost if you have the know how.
8: Leverage your Time.
You'll never get rich trading money for hours.The wealthy let their money and other people work for them to produce a profit.You may only be able to work 8 to 12 hours a week, but you can leverage the work of 1,000 other people to create a 10,000 hour work week.
That's the way to become wealthy. By the way, you can do this without ever hiring any employees.
9: Use tax advantages.
Starting your own home based business gives you the advantage of tax benefits not available to the general public. A portion of any money spent on your home becomes a tax break. Your vehicles may be tax deductible.
Your meals and entertainment could become a taxwriteoff. You can put more money in a retirement fund without taxes. Everyone should have a home business just to save on taxes if nothing else...
10: Avoid hype.
The claims of make a $1,000,000 this weekend may sound good, but they come at a heavy cost. Too many people have fallen for this hype and have lost all sense of real business principles.I can take you to where you're making $100, $500,or even $5,000 a month...But it usually won't happen overnight.
It will also take some efforts on your part. You have to follow the simple system which has worked for me and so many other people. Even if it to start from earning less than hundereds of Naira first. Then as you progress, N1,000, N50,000, N200,000, etc.
Don't join the quick-money syndrom.
